UNITECH CYBER PARK ANALYSIS -shitij dogra

·         Accessability – accounts for the movement and as the name suggests  the access to the complex from various different  entries and exits.
·         The red color basically represents the movement pattern of the people and the places from where they leave or enter.
·         The blue color represents the movement of the cars through the temporary drop off .
·         One arrow on the chart depicts the movement  of large number of people moving in a particular direction .
·         The area in the middle shows the entry to the basement beneath the structure
LEVELS
·         there is a level difference in the main complex of the unitech cyber park which determines the movement pattern of the people
·         Dark blue – shows the +3 step which exists beneath the structure
·         Yellow region- conveys the +0 level  i.e there is a depression .which causes the change in the movement pattern of th epoeple
·         Sky blue- is the +2 level which is the most densely populated area and the movement happens around that area only
·         There is no movement in the +0 or +3 level . as adding level prevents or restricts the movement of the people in that particular direction as the human tendency commands for the body to take an easy approach towards the movement.
        MATERIALITY
·         Materiality determines the movement pattern which is affected by putting a structure or a material at a place.
·         The benches which are placed next to the structure create a clumsy space which isn’t really suitable for walking on as it gives a feeling of claustrophobia and confusion.
·         And the green masses which are placed in the middle, blocks the view of the person as shown in the picture.
·         The pictorial representation of trees appearing to be red at the ends depicts that they are acting as barriers for the movement of the people and also block the view of the person.
·         The same goes for the +3 step  ends of the structure . they act as a barrier for the movement of the people
MOVEMENT PATTERN ON A DAILY ROUTINE
·         Red –  high density area - highly active -majority of people walk on this patch
·         Blue – low density-least active- nobody walks on this area or the density of people is very low at this particular place
·         Yellow- moderately dense- moderately active-  medium activity happening on this area
·         It can also be explained in a way that the space or the total volume that the space carries considering the yellow zone is quite large as compared to the volume of the red zone.
·         So if 10 people are walking in the red zone , it would make them  feel more congested  than they would in the yellow zone

MOVEMENT PATTERN DURING THE FLASH MOB
·         Red-  areas of high activity- all the officers and security gaurds accumulated at this particular area.
·         Everybody including the people who participated and the security gaurds were active at the aforementioned area
·         Blue- areas of low activity- nobody accumulated at this area .
·         the density of people was quite low in these areas .
·         majority of people pertaining to these patches were unaware of the flash mob or were ignorant towards it.
