DIAGRAMMING & ANALYSIS- MGF MALL

Construction of metro station has disrupted the harmony of the place.

The car traffic and pedestrian traffic intersect each other ,
which creates a chaos in the area especially in the evenings.

My attempt is to bind all the people who are presently scattered and to make them use the space.

                                               Movement Pattern: Unitech Cyberpark
void space in centre created due to oval circulatory path

Main cause for round  movement path :   Level differences

Due to lack of clear visibility in path through level differences people mostly unwilling to venture two steps down

                                                                     Seating Pattern
Most people like to sit on the planters edging the steps

analysis and diagramming - heritage city

MATERIALITY
The space (37m * 37m) is enclosed by four blocks in HERITAGE city.
A flat cemented ground with underground parking and a shaded seating as the only public amenities. The ground for one of the flash mobs.

FLASH MOB- EFFECT
The flash mob was conducted with not much participation from the people.

Given below are reasons pointed out for the mob being ineffective.

REASON - 2
The high vertical difference,
The 6 ft average height  people struggling to fight the feeling of constantly being under the view of people in the building.

the two reasons stated earlier further provide an understanding of the space being used as  only "THOROUGHFARE" .

My attempt is at making people pause to be in the space.
